After delivering one of the worst performances in the history of the MTV Video Music Awards, Britney Spears has a chance to redeem herself and be crowned this year as the absolute best. She is nominated for video of the year for "Piece of Me," Other nominees include the Jonas Brothers, Chris Brown, and the Pussycat Dolls. Paramore, Fall Out Boy, Slipknot, Linkin Park and Foo Fighters are in the category of best rock video. The MTV VMA's air on September 7th.

A judge has demanded Lil Wayne pay a Miami jeweler the $146,000 he owes after failing to make payments on a diamond ring. Kanye West’s KW Foods LLC is expected to open ten Fatburger restaurants in his native Chicago. West’s first franchised Fatburger will open next month in the Orland Park area. . . Amy Winehouse in the Hospital Amy Winehouse is now receiving treatment for a heart condition. Oh, and drug addiction, too, but that probably goes without saying.
Winehouse was diagnosed with an irregular heartbeat yesterday (June 19), according to The Sun. The singer was taken to the hospital Monday (June 16) after she fainted insider her home . After a battery of tests, doctors determined she suffers from cardiac arrhythmia, and will remain in in-patient doctor's care for the upcoming weeks.
While she's there, she's also detoxifying, too, according to The Sun and getting treatment for her much-flaunted rehab-hating addiction to heroin.

Lil Wayne's peers are publicly recognizing how great a feat it was for the New Orleans native to move over a million units of his Tha Carter III in the first week.

Jamie Lynn Spears popped a baby girl Little Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth to a baby girl this morning weighing in at 6lbs 10 oz. She did deliver via C-Section at Mississippi Southwest Regional Medical Center at 8:30am. They have named the little baby Spears Maddie Briann.
